| Dec 28, 2025 12:42 AM | babyjeff | Asset: Sonic.EXE | pretty funny how fangames of almost anything else are allowed but we're still being petty and exclusionary about exe games in 2025, going on 2026. yeah the games aren't good, but neither are a bunch of games that are allowed on the site; i get why obviously no customs are accepted, but this sheet should really open the door for existing games like the My5tCrimson original considering how damn old they are by now. hell, the sonic twitter *did* officially use its own exe sprites for halloween one year, if you want to make the official argument. wouldn't recreations of those be acceptable the same way undertale/deltarune promotional sprite recreations are? to clarify, i have no stake in this debate, i've simply been a lurker on this site long enough to find it curiously hypocritical. |
