Just to notify, all the moves from Generations are simple rotations, it's basically Sonic 3 but more complex, so, you can already rig some Generation moves with this sheet.

And that's not mentioning that the two unused levels are on the original A52 Cheetahmen, being probably just leftovers from that version.

EDIT: Dum. Only the level design was re-used from Cheetahmen I. The enemies and enemy placement was new, even lacking the boss of the first re-used level, and having a new one for the second re-used one.

Shinbs, the creator of these sprites, unfortunately passed away in 2016. He contributed to several of the Sonic sheets on this site and MFZ back in its heyday, and was very talented, as you can see. Shinbs's father posted on his DA account to say that the community can use his sprites for free. For posterity, we are hosting this sheet, the final one he was working on, here on TSR so it can be with the rest of his work.

Rest in peace, Shinbs.

I think it's a matter of handheld v console rather than any arguments of quality v popularity. I hadn't even heard of Mega Man, X, or Zero series until Mega Man Maverick Hunter X came out. And even then, I didn't know about the Zero series until a few years ago when my flat mate had started playing the series again.

@GW N64 was fairly powerful, and there was probably some internal shenanigans going on as well. Yoshi's Story, for example, heavily abused squash & stretch, scaling, rotation, and some filtering.

Quite a lot of Japanese games have their menus and options in English. They know what the words mean, its an arcade collection after all and they might have had plans to release Namco Museum registered trademark outside of Japan like the rest of the series.

Only some licensed games, games targeted for a younger audience, games that require a lot of text like RPGs/Visual Novels or know that the game won't be released outside of Japan are mostly in Japanese.
