The animation itself is quite well animeted, which probably means there was probably a lot more going on behind the scenes while they were juggling around with the concept of some sort of "Yoshi event".

@SiFi270 Well it'll be more fun to play than this. The only thing that this game has are the graphics... It's a very frustrating Kung Fu Master styled game with control issues, slow movement and nightmarish difficulty as it typically was with Spanish made Spectrum games. You'll be lucky to get past the first level at all.

To the point where the Amstrad CPC port that was made last year had to fix some of the issues that it had. Still a tough game but at least gives you the ability to regain some health and a new combo system.

Not gonna lie, I actually like Spirits for the same reason I liked the Stickers in Brawl:
It gives really old or irrelevant games/series a better chance of getting represented.

Using the thumbnail as an example: Sutte Hakkun wouldn't have gotten a Trophy in more current Smash games, but because Spirits are purely based around pre-existing artwork, it was able to get some form of representation.

Sure, it sucks that they don't have descriptions like Trophies, but since the last Smash game had over 700 trophies and this game has over 1,000 Spirits, they probably got very burnt out from writing good-enough descriptions (Not to mention that they said that Trophies are a lot harder to make than what most might think).

@EXEcutor We don't want the custom sections getting too unwieldy. With a series as long-running and varied as something like Sonic and Mario, it makes sense to divide it into separate sections when those sections don't have much crossover. That's why Yoshi and Wario and the Luigi's Mansion and Mario RPG and Paper Mario sections have all been created. Keeping them all in one place would be too messy and make it harder to find things.

So yes, if we get enough submissions for a particular entry in the series, it could get its own section.

@Cat That's a Sworm from M&LSS. I'm not sure which predates what, but there's certainly no relation. SS came out in 2003, and DoaWK started as an extremely obscure webcomic.
