By default, all traffic will be challenged but logged in users will bypass those challenges completely. Dude... this was the reason I liked RPGs since 1st grade. I started Final Fantasy because of this game, and later I'm getting into Dark Souls. Evolution man. Also, wow I remember how detailed the sprites were back then, and they still look great today. Still love Dragic's evolution.
