@WF4123 @playgames169vg At first I thought that this was a FMV movie (meaning that it can't be ripped) until looking further due to the game using tiles rather than streamed data. From what I gathered, it's a demoscene technique to produce more colours. The palette changes very rapidly within the code and this is one example of what the game is doing. The kinda corrupted look (well "blocky") that WF4123 mentioned is a little side effect but something you wouldn't notice on a console. Just by this alone, you could tell that this game wasn't developed in Japan but rather in Europe. Europe is king regarding the demoscene and many impressive techniques that came from there are often used in games (you probably are aware of Jon Burton, there are many groups that became developers such as Zyrinx, Housemarque and even DICE. Yes, that DICE.). This is not the only game that does this, the second title screen of AirForce Delta does something similar. |

While I still find the random posting of that schedule by a random member ("random" used excessively on purpose) a little odd, I guess it worked out in this case. To be fair, it was announced quite a long time ago but they're right - tSR updates every Saturday and, assuming there is enough new content to justify an update, the rest of the sites update on the first Saturday of the month. |

Just noticed that the font resembles the one used on the ZX Spectrum, just with more characters e.g. the Euro and changes to the letters. Many of the numbers are identical though. |

@morshufan1993: Are you referring to the overworld character sprites? Those are all on the SMW-style playable characters sprite sheet, made the most sense to put there as a bunch of the sprites are the exact same as the gameplay sprites. |

I'm going to list the Color Theme in order to avoid some confusions. Theme 1 - Pyoro (Day) Theme 2 - Pyoro (Dusk) Theme 3 - Pyoro (Night) Theme 4 - Pyoro 2 (Day) Theme 5 - Pyoro 2 (Sunset) Theme 6 - Pyoro 2 (Night) Theme 7 - Sepia Theme 8 - Monochrome Theme 8-15 - Monochrome (40K Neon Lights) For the Comet, it originally appears about 8 times on the GBA version from 11,000 to 19,000. In Bird & Beans however, the Comet now appears about 6 times on the DSi version from 13,000 to 19,000. It's because in the DSi version has two new objects in order to compensate the DSi Screen Size, which is the Planet on the top-left and the Floating City on the top-right. And additionally for the Comet, in Pyoro the Comet is Blue, in Pyoro 2 the Comet is Red, and when you reach to Sepia at 20,000, the Comet is now White as you expect, but when you reach to Monochrome at 30,000 (though not really possible to be seen in-game), the Comet is Blue again due that the Comet and the Fireworks shares the same Color Palettes. And for the Neon Lights, on the GBA version, it cycles 8 Colors in an order to the beat of the music in real-time. The Colors in order is Black, Yellow, Red, White, Blue, Green, Magenta, and Cyan. In Bird & Beans, it uses that same Color order like in the GBA version, but in the DSi version, instead of cycling 8 Colors to the beat of the music, the Colors just continue to speed up more and more the longer you survive in-game and also cause an interesting Color Illusion effect until the Neon Lights loops back to the same 8 Colors on the 12th loop at the start and just repeats forever.
