If i could mod mario, i would make mario do the middle finger when he wins
i beat this game and the gba remake
@esponjaresource Not exactly a glitch, but it is caused by one. Involves rewriting the game's code through button presses. Someone also made Pong in Super Mario World too.
oh yeah

@Saadexe you can find some of them in the SNES Test Program tho.
I like the nickname "IAmALsoOnRoblox"
@IAmAlsoOnRoblox leaked stuff isnt allowed on this site
where the flippin RACOON MARIO (from the betas)
@waluigiregected They might not be exactly image files, but they look and are intended to look like that in the game. Following that logic we shouldn't have any NES/SNES sprites in here since they are usually made out of 8x8 tilesets too. :/
why is there a sheet for every level? these levels arent images in the files right? why are they here?
SMW specific: Lunar Magic
In general: Import ZSNES quicksaves into vSNES, then open PalViewer/MemViewer/SceneViewer

how do i extract snes sprites
The magenta (or pink) is a placeholder since it is used for a palette cycle (4 colours). Only the Yoshi coin and the curtain suspension in Bowser's castle (door 3) are using the palette animation, the rest of the tiles which use this palette are unaffected. Still, the palette cycle is running in the background and therefore it's not possible to determine only one palette for these tiles. Since there are 4 colours, there are also 4 possible palettes.
I couldn't help but notice that a lot of these sheets display the coin background palette with a magenta color that changes from light yellow to deep yellow in-game. Is the magenta color in the game's code, or is it just that way for reference?
Tileset revision and new sheet to cover the prototype contents are on the way.
Forest of Illusion released a localization prototype of Super Mario World yesterday! - https://forestillusion.com/2022/super-mario-world-usa-prototype
Where should the graphics (Yoshi's House sign and font) that are different go? I assume in the same sheets they come from, right?

Checkpoints are on Animated Foregound Tiles within the Miscellaneous section.
Am I missing the checkpoint sprites or don'T we have them yet? Like the ones where you walk through the bar and then get bigger.
I remember playing this version of SMW with my sister back when we were kids. Awesome work on the sprite sheets to everyone!
It seems like they put a lot more work on the maps for smw than the others on here.
