among us would be murder mystery genre
@SIG7Pro A Strategy game is usually the likes of Fire Emblem, X-COM, Civilization, Command & Conquer or Mario & Rabbids. Either it involves attacking an enemy with a bunch of commands like a RPG, turn based but get to move about and attack while planning your move or Real Time. Generally it's an army against an army even though Civilization is also a management sim as well (to the point of having the 4X subgenre) and the likes of Command & Conquer you can create new units/buildings. If it's just finding that one character in a group, then it's not the same. Who knows if Among Us gets clones in the future, it might end up having a subgenre of its own. Wikipedia class this as a "party game" but again not quite that either.

Wouldn't Among Us fall into the 'Strategy' category rather than 'Other', due to you having to think stuff out and find out who the impostor is or something?
