I mean alternatively, if Pikachu were yellow on the gameboy color, it would mean itd be grey on the regular gameboy instead.
@Diyamund It's not really odd, they were following a limited, but consistent color scheme. Pikachu is white and if they color it yellow, now the other Pokemon need to be fully yellow or it doesn't work.
odd that they didn't use the yellow for pikachu on the sgb enhanced version
