@Unoriginal_Fox I think his voice from the japanese version of the OVA would fit well.
@JanYT this man really did a lot of attention to detail with not only the sprites, but the spritesheet itself, looking like Yawackhary's spritesheets of the game. Even the drawing page has a piece of artwork from Western material.
This legitimately looks like something I could fall for, especially with the sheet's layout.

Now I can sleep peacefully knowing that someone somewhere could hack Knuckles the Echidna into Sonic the Hedgehog's Gameworld for the SEGA Pico.
Finally, the missing piece
Gameworld did come out a few months after Sonic 3 so him being absent from it is very odd. The two were certainly at least in development around the same time.

@Teridax Eh? He was considered firmly a good guy in Sonic Blast, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Drift 2, Sonic R, and Sonic the Fighters, just as a "rival" character.
It’s easy to forget that Sonic and Knuckles weren’t friends until SA2 and he was still considered a “villain” when this game came out.
