His mecha version doesn't have an extra sprite, the game uses a "poof" sfx on him (which does nothing) and immediately starts the fight. Afterwards, he is gone (despite the group taking a sample of his blood). Too bad the remakes didn't use this, they just have his regular form throwing spells. |

I mean, sure they DID have Waluigi Pinball, so that can seem like flawed logic, but 1. I just said I'm much less logical about this stuff now and 2. If I had to guess, by the time that the tracks were being developed, most, if not all characters were done, and the character choices had been finalized right then and there. |
