CHARIZARD cannot grasp the true form of Giygas' attack! CHARIZARD fainted!
Those are the Gen 1 back sprites. This resolution is accurate to the Gen 2 back sprites. Though the front sprites are the same size in both.
Spooky. And incredibly artstyle-accurate. Only real gripe is that the back sprites are actually stored at a lower resolution before being resized by 2x.
Wow, these all look incredible. Those back-sprites must have been the hardest part! With a character as abstract as Giygas, you've captured his likeness perfectly.

Alright! So. Upside Down references a detail, when you flip Giygas’ second phase upside down, you can see Giegue, Manga is the version from the Earthbound Manga and Vapor 2 comes from an unused Mother 3 Boss that is heavily assumed to have been Giygas
