Heh, Ross in his Earthbound playthrough made a mention about ripping the dinosaur musem area so he could see some dinosaur bones, and I wonder if anyone else is curious to see the whole dino skeleton as well...? |
Oct 10, 2016, 10:29 AM | Nitwitsworld | Sheet: Piranha Plant |
@KaraszKun Well, there's always modding the texture color to make the plants look different and of high quality too. |
Oct 10, 2016, 9:46 AM | TwistedGear | Game: Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure |
theres actually more than half of the game sprites still missing. Database has closer to all of them. |
Oct 10, 2016, 9:21 AM | Neros Urameshi | Game: Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden |
Looking forward to the custom sprites, squadtrunks! |
Oct 10, 2016, 8:52 AM | Ton | Sheet: Pokey |
Wow, SMB2 Pokey. |
Oct 10, 2016, 8:51 AM | Ton | Sheet: Scaredy Rat |
Not exactly. http://www.mariowiki.com/Scaredy_Rat |
Oct 10, 2016, 7:28 AM | janitoalevic | Sheet: Mario (Sonic Genesis-Style) |
Please make a Luigi version of this sprites! |
Oct 10, 2016, 6:22 AM | MasterVelyk | Game: Undertale |
You forgot the unused sprites known as "Mirror Frisk" by some. |
Oct 10, 2016, 5:33 AM | Gaia | Sheet: Scaredy Rat |
An original enemy, in a modern paper mario? more likely than you think! |
Oct 10, 2016, 5:32 AM | Gaia | Sheet: Toad (Shirtless) |
If you wondered what a shirtless toad looks like, there you go. Just don't ask what's under the cap. |
Oct 10, 2016, 5:02 AM | COOLSKELETON95 | Game: Undertale Customs |
GREETINGS PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET! I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU ALL FOR A LITTLE SOMETHING! NOW OBVIOUSLY, YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IT, BUT I WOULD LOVE IT IF YOU DID! (ALSO IM NOT SURE IF THIS IS OKAY TO DO...) ANYWAYS! I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A SPRITE SHEET OF EITHER SANS, ASRIEL, FRISK, OR I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS! IN THE STYLE OF SUPER MARIO WORLD! THANK YOU AND GOODBYE! |
Oct 10, 2016, 4:51 AM | aqepo | Game: Paper Mario |
The names of some of the sheets are inconsistent. "Spiked Goomba" is labelled as "Goomba (Spiked)", while "Spiked Gloomba" retains its in-game name, which I think is the best option. |
Oct 10, 2016, 4:43 AM | Ton | Sheet: Decision Screens |
@Somari Yeah. We host it because it's a rip from a real game. It'd be foolish not to. |
Oct 10, 2016, 4:26 AM | RaymanFan1995 | Sheet: Decision Screens |
As if there wasn't enough proof already, this here is great proof that TSR will rip and host literally anything. |
Oct 10, 2016, 3:12 AM | Demirramon | Sheet: Asgore Dreemurr |
As the intro has 14 sprites and makes the sheet very wide, what if it was split into two rows of 7 sprites? |
Oct 10, 2016, 1:27 AM | Xingularity | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
If RTB would read this: 1. Great job on the sprites, just curious do you plan to rip the models as well? 2. May I ask why some sprite sheets have like smaller versions of similar sprites (ex. Luigi) are they like unused or the ones actually used throughout the game, because the slightly bigger Luigi sprites seem to be way larger than Mario's sprites or the Dino Rhino's? |
Oct 10, 2016, 12:57 AM | KrusperButter | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
Yeah, although I would just use the peices for a custom pose. Not a full animation as that would be a pain in the ass. Props to RTB though, and I apologize for being quite a nuisance. |
Oct 9, 2016, 11:25 PM | E-Man | Sheet: Mario (Transformations) |
Ah! So, they actually have him wear his power-ups this time! |
Oct 9, 2016, 10:58 PM | aqepo | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
You guys should just learn to be patient. The rate at which these sprites are being ripped is already amazingly fast! Thank you to RTB for all the hard work! As a side note: am I really the only one happy to see that the sprites are already asembled? Having the pieces is all nice and pretty, but if you wanna use the whole character, having to asemble each frame can be a pain in the ass. |
Oct 9, 2016, 5:53 PM | KaraszKun | Sheet: Piranha Plant |
I miss the days when there were Putrid Piranhas and Frost Piranhas... |
Oct 9, 2016, 5:51 PM | KaraszKun | Sheet: Soggy Guy |
This is depressing in so many levels. |
Oct 9, 2016, 5:48 PM | Rainbow Question Mark | Sheet: True Laboratory |
Finally a Bomberman fan who is now an Undertale fan lol |
Oct 9, 2016, 5:33 PM | DancesWithPigeons | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
The level of self-entitlement in some of these comments is surreal. As a non-ripper myself, my hat's off to those who are selflessly spending their free time doing all this work ripping for shameless sponges like me. Many thanks for all your efforts. |
Oct 9, 2016, 4:38 PM | KaraszKun | Sheet: Cheep Cheep |
I don't see a Deep-Cheep. Do you see one?! It has to be unused. |
Oct 9, 2016, 4:29 PM | Deep Weeb | Game: Hercules |
Hercules! Remember the scent of Mother! |
Oct 9, 2016, 4:26 PM | KaraszKun | Sheet: Koopa Paratroopa |
I don't know if the Green Koopa Paratroopa is even used... right? |
Oct 9, 2016, 4:17 PM | McCake147 | Sheet: General Sprites |
they're not named, that's a little bit annoying but otherwise, this is pretty cool! EDIT: whatever the wiki says is an enemy's "internal npc id" is the name of the file, just figured that out |
Oct 9, 2016, 4:00 PM | iChibi | Game: PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator |
time to rip ;) |
Oct 9, 2016, 3:40 PM | kickcross | Game: Fire Emblem: Fates |
Anyone feeling motivated to get the human version of Anankos now that we have his crazy face dragon form? |
Oct 9, 2016, 3:18 PM | LooneyTunerIan | Sheet: Mario (Transformations) |
Bringing back the Frog Suit was a good choice. :) |
Oct 9, 2016, 3:17 PM | LooneyTunerIan | Sheet: Cheep Cheep |
Must be an Homage to the classic Super Mario Bros. Game. You know, they had Red and Green Cheep-Cheeps. |
Oct 9, 2016, 3:00 PM | Random Talking Bush | Sheet: Map Concept Drawings |
@Waterisgood: This sheet is for Map concepts, Omega Flowey isn't a map. |
Oct 9, 2016, 2:47 PM | Random Talking Bush | Sheet: Cheep Cheep |
The second red Cheep Cheep isn't a goof, for some reason it has two sets of sprites which have minor differences between it and the original set. No idea why. |
Oct 9, 2016, 2:45 PM | KrusperButter | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
OH MY GOD THE KOOPAS AND HAMMER BROS GOT RIPPED THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED |
Oct 9, 2016, 2:42 PM | LooneyTunerIan | Sheet: Yoshi |
I think the Modern Paper Yoshi looks better, but that's not the problem. :( There are no character rigs like the TTYD Yoshi Rigs like these: http://hocuspocus.taloncrossing.com/rii/pm2/yoshi.png |
Oct 9, 2016, 2:39 PM | Tailikku | Sheet: Sonic |
I've actually seen those "Early" sprites before on Sonic Central, circa 2004-2006 |
Oct 9, 2016, 2:08 PM | Garamonde | Sheet: True Laboratory |
The key colors were not present in the files, only that blank white version, so I had to make separate versions myself using screenshots from the game. They should be accurate because I made sure that the palettes of the surrounding tiles matched the ones in the game's files. |
Oct 9, 2016, 1:14 PM | KrusperButter | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
Plus, the Police aren't going to bust someones door down because some dude shared a file so another person can upload art to a website. |
Oct 9, 2016, 1:02 PM | KrusperButter | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
I forgot the proper instructions, theres no need to be an asshole here. I'll just paitently wait since I'm not getting the game. |
Oct 9, 2016, 12:28 PM | Dazz | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
So what you're saying is, you want to illegally pirate the game so that you can rip the sprites, but you have no idea how to rip the sprites? Please just think for a second before you request something and think logically if it's: A) Legal, B) Of any use, or C) A pain in the ass for the person who is already doing the work you want done. Come on. |
Oct 9, 2016, 12:13 PM | Ragey | Sheet: Eggman / Robotnik (Unused) |
@Dolphman SEGA's arcade games require some files to be merged for the sprites to display properly in a tile viewer. There's an explanation and a link to tools at the bottom of this page. |
Oct 9, 2016, 12:12 PM | KrusperButter | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
What do you need to rip them? I thought you put the disk in your computer and you use a software to change the file extension or something. |
Oct 9, 2016, 12:06 PM | MotorRoach | Sheet: Tiles (Super Mario Land-Style) |
Now this I dig. |
Oct 9, 2016, 11:57 AM | Ultimatestopgame | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
The game is worth the $60, trust me. I would rip the sprites if I could, but from as far as my knowledge goes, I don't have the proper tools to do so. |
Oct 9, 2016, 11:49 AM | KrusperButter | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
So I literally have to spend $60 just to rip some sprites? |
Oct 9, 2016, 11:47 AM | Dazz | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
It is illegal to upload proprietary data files. Uploading that large a volume of data from a game's disc in its native format is basically accountable to medium scale piracy. We won't promote that kind of thing. |
Oct 9, 2016, 11:36 AM | KrusperButter | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
But please, if anyone has the files. Please upload them somewhere. It's not as hard as trying to cure cancer so please do it. |
Oct 9, 2016, 11:31 AM | Larry Koopa Is Awesome | Sheet: Ludwig |
@Fawfulthegreat64 thank you for being one of those that actually respects an opinion, those people are hard to find. |
Oct 9, 2016, 11:18 AM | LooneyTunerIan | Game: Paper Mario: Color Splash |
I don't know if this counts as a sad day for any Paper Mario fans who are expecting character rigs. Because I think this is officially true: Nintendo has finally given us a real hinder as they have merged their rigs and created outlines to prevent any rig ripping like in TTYD, SPM, or SS. :( I just hope that whoever sees these sheets is an expert Paper Mario Rig maker and could provide custom Character Rigs for the Paper Mario Customs section: http://www.spriters-resource.com/custom_edited/papermariocustoms/ |
Oct 9, 2016, 11:15 AM | DaColGy | Game: Undertale |
We have passed 100 sheets wow |
