Where the possibility of prototype is concerned, I doubt it, but I can check at least. I'd say that they're clouds, though, and we're looking at an analogue to the Pacific Ocean or some grander world ocean from history. |

No need for that, since in game's logic and structure, every image file is a texture one, so, even those sprites that are here should be in textures resource then, so, no. I have found every paper version of all characters in this game. But, i think that this game section need some changes, like a division between paper and no-paper elements, so, i'm able to upload them here. |

The sprite clash in this game is insane. Even with just Sonic himself, Sonic 3 for most sprites, but then he becomes Sonic 2 Sonic for his diagonal sprites, and then goes back another game for his end pose. |
