I once edited this infamous game "back" into SMB1 by using the original NES graphics and music. It obviously didn't feel like the original, but I thought it worked well. |

@MBCMechachu: A lot of LGPE's icons were past said "15 color limit" though... Either way, the sprites are the same way they are in the game's files, there's no "cleaner rips" to be had here. Especially considering it's not likely they'll be "fixed" in the next update. |

@MisterMike That's not what I was saying at all. I was saying that these sprites in their current state go way over the 15 color limit. This makes them completely unusable for stuff like ROM hacks unless someone were to clean them up. |

Functionally, the vocal sounds are 「ヒュエ」 (hyu-e), 「ヒュヘ」 (hyu-he) and 「ヒュヘエ(エ)」(hyu-he-e(-e; there's a point where the エ is uttered again)). |

@Kirby Actually what they're saying is pronounced "Hweh." It's the theme in the Japanese and some of the European releases (personally, I prefer the American counterpart to this particular theme). |
