If that's the case, then we're never getting the mysterious scrapped girl character's sprites ripped. Recreated, maybe, but not ripped.
That's a damn shame, I was really hoping I'd be able to play later builds of it some day.

I was looking on the RayWiki and it was saying that the later builds of this game with 2 player and some earlier incarnation boss of Skops was apparently lost forever. So far it looks like only this build that has been circulating the internet was included in the Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition. I guess if they did still have such build they would have put it there, but I guess someone tripped over some power cables back in 1993 or something.

Sadly, they don't seem to be; TCRF doesn't have them documented anywhere, and aside from here, there aren't many other places sprites from this build have been posted.
I do hope later builds get found and released; supposedly this version was almost finished before they shifted to PS1 and other newer, more advanced systems.
