Very interesting. Soon when the game gear games would be proven to be as good as the sega genesis when it comes to sprites. (not all of them cuz Sonic Labyrinth for example.) |

Despite it's flaws, I genuinely love this game. Holds a lot of good memories for me. Definitely right there next to Super Princess Peach in my "obscure games that I really like" list. |

I finished Chef Saltbaker! He wasn’t even that hard, tbh. I think the Moonshine Mob, and Glumstone were more work than him. I actually had to make phase 1 separate to the other phases. |

@Kanbei: So, funny thing about that... I just checked not too long ago, and it seems my method that I used for ripping Pocky & Rocky Reshrined's sprites earlier actually works with this game too. If you want, I can extract the sprites from this game pre-assembled, and send you them for sheeting purposes, to save you the time of assembling them yourself. |

The main character seems to be a Clarisse clone in terms of her character design. (For people who may not know, Clarisse from The Castle of Cagliostro was REALLY popular in the early 1980s to the point of dedicated fanzines and her character design was basically ripped off left, right and centre. GAINAX's first animation had a rip off character along with so many pop culture characters. She pretty much also kicked off the trend of moe characters.) |
