Ali's stage is... China? Ryo's stage is in America even tho he's japanese, Geese's stage is Britain (Of course, very synonymous with him), Ryu and Goku love fighting on abandoned places near the ocean, and Kyo fights people in a creepy japanese ghost shrine. Jordan has a basketball court in the middle of nowhere, and Cyclops (or cycl) fights you in a water temple. They choose the most random places to fight if you ask me, like each fighter asked Chatgpt "what's the best place to throw hands" and they came to their own conclusions.
For those looking for the more "egregious" characters of the game (as of writing they've not been ripped):
-Michael jordan (Joden) uses heavily edited sprites of Lucky Glauber from King of Fighters '94
-Muhammad Ali (Ali) uses heavily edited sprites of Heavy D from King of Fighters '94

Nah, that's still World Heroes 2 NES.
Crossover of the century.
