ok, anti-gravity motion is ok, but running in vertical cylindral structures does use sonic 2's sprites, with sonic 3 pallete
It's actually pretty much the same. The palette even shifts to the Sonic 1 style to accommodate it.
fun fact lol: the first frame of sonic's ending sprite is just the sonic 1 ending sprite recolored lol

The separate frames for the ICZ Snowboard are missing. There also might be an unused frame for those, but I'm not sure about that

...in Mushroom Hill Zone. I just checked the best analogue to that pole in Carnival Night Zone, and the frame doesn't crop up there. I'll adjust the S&K sheet, but not this one.
