So much frames...
Yeah, I imagine if the animation got compressed down to the limits of the Sega CD without any changes made to it, it would probably look like an animation made out of JPEGs lol.
Yeah, akin to the Sonic 3D Blast intro, these are technically sprites since they've been touched up a lot (just compare with how it looks in more recent releases, for example!).
I think this one stands out because it's not an ugly mess like the FMVs on other Sega CD games. Not to mention it appears to be redrawn in pixel art like the DOS ports of Dragon's Lair and Space Ace.
This got accepted? I thought FMV rips weren't allowed here.
