you guys know why are there so much identical ground tiles? thats because its for the different visual connections, but in smb1 theres only one except in underwater, desert, airship, snow, and ghost house, so theres a lot of identical ones

You'd be correct. That way, they can just swap out the required tiles for each set and it'd remain synchronized, something that Nintendo has done even back in the NES days.

I imagine it's because of the different speed and directions. Slow left, slow right, fast left, fast right. Realistically they didn't need to include them all but I think that's the reason they did.

Why in each tilesets there are 4 of the same conveyors?

@Jod Dan you know how you select a group of blocks/items to move it and there's a yellow outline around it? thats what that's for

What is “Rail Selection Outlines” used for?

probably because all tilesets in every theme are set up the same way so you need to have the same texture for every piece of ground

why are there so much of the same ground texture repeated? (does that make sense?)

not really a unique feature if thats on most basic image editors

for everybody that's complaining about the size, there's this unique feature called crop and save as a copy

@Jonnywardy_: It's really not *that* big. I've ripped hundreds of single-character submissions that are more than three times this sheet's size. No point in splitting this sheet up arbitrarily.

Ideally this needs to be split up. It's way too big

can we please get these in seperate sheets? the image is so large that the game making engine i'm using renders it in terrible quality.

@Caylie C i mean all of them DO keep to the limitation of 3 colors per sprite/tile but the palette being limited to 13 colors would look awful with this game
