Why can't we be shown exactly where animated parts go for other animated BGs like we're shown for the stars in the night BG?

@Random Talking Brush thanks for clarifying, and indeed SMM2 is very weird when it comes to graphics and visual stuff, they're using slightly close colors for making different objects. Nintendo's no joke when it comes to that.

@Med Animations: Yeah, I noticed that way earlier. That mistake is all on Nintendo and is actually visible in regular gameplay, I haven't edited these backgrounds in any way! Also wouldn't be the first time I've seen visual oddities like that in this game specifically.
And the font I've been using for my sprite submissions is Verdana, should be a standard system font.

@Random Talking Bush the Ground 1st BG has some weird blue eyes around, just remove the sky color and you'll see them
Also where can I find the font you're using?

@Naffy zacky: Is the blue ghost house

I knew that the ghost house had a vertical variant, but I had no idea the castle has one... nice

I think it's just poor color choice. Either that or it's supposed to be giving a 'heat wave' sort of effect maybe.

I have no idea, but is the desert background supossed to be blurry?

@James205: They're for vertically-scrolling stages.

What are the blue Ghost House and Castle backgrounds?

@RobinTIS: Nah, it's just an animation guide I set up (for ground level and vertical respectively), otherwise it would've just been a solid color. The third one is an assembly example and has the tiles for the respective color chunks they fit into above it.

@Naffy zacky: Dunno how I missed that but it's there now, just refresh the page!

Where's vertical ghost house?
