@Doc von Schmeltwick No they don't? The NES doesn't have a preset palette, might be wrong though.
Most of these could really use a palette check.
Luigi, goes to the circus.

Out of the 3 SMB games for the NES this one has the best sprites.
@TarkanDragon I'm not sure I know what you mean.
@Ton Umm... that was already done right? Unless if there's more like the backgrounds and the credits + the font.
I split up Jermungandr's giant rip into smaller sheets to make searching for stuff easier in this section.
It would be nice to get the playable characters organized into 4 definitive sheets so we can retire the group sheet up there.

@Bromaster: It's actually under Enemies, Objects, & Tilesets.
@thebuddyadrian It's official game. Bootlegs are much lower quality.
where the hecc is the smoke effect
@WordedPuppet All of those people that say it sucks because the obviously-dazed Peach doesn't immediately assert that she isn't Bowser Jr's mother and instead reacts in realistic confusion. A strawman argument at its best.
@Doc von Schmeltwick I've yet to find 1 person who hates Sunshine.
@Doc von Schmeltwick The game was actually a prototype for an engine that allowed for vertical scrolling, later gaining horizontal scrolling when Miyamoto asked for a "Mario-based" approach with the engine. It did not have any intention of being a Mario game at the time.
Nintendo and SEGA did the same exact same thing, re sprited one of their game's.
Edit: Someone needs to rip a tileset from this game.

Thing is this was always intended to be a Mario game. They just replaced the Mario characters with characters for some broadcasting company so they'd fund it. Then they changed them to the Mario characters when they exported it. So it's technically a dolled-up installment of a dolled-up game, or dolled-down.
