special wasn't a remake or a port, it's, it's own game.
no, actually. several of the levels were shortened so that the screen crunch wouldn't be as bad in areas that have larger pits.

This is the better than the SPECIAL version, special version give me blindness for few seconds.
I'm guessing all the levels are the same size as they are in the original.
Now this is how you remake a game!
