I'm glad all of the enemies are grouped together here so they're easier to find.
The original version had them all over the place!
The original version had them all over the place!

@YUIGI The arms and boo itself are different sprites the sprite sheet just lumped them together

Where are the Ninji

Huh. Never noticed that big boo was missing one of his arms on one frame in this game. And no, that's not an error of the sheet, he actually looks like that in-game apparently.

The munchers are tiles not enemies.

I think that it's missing Big boo's "Peek out" sprite, when you keep staring at him for 18 seconds straight

@Dep See below, it's a "defeated" pose for if Luigi is riding Yoshi and he spits it out.

which is the mega mole jump sprite used for?

@Mister Man Wow, that is VERY specific. So much so it's almost pointless. Admittedly, playing as him is possible in single-player at any given time, I suppose...

@Doc von Schmeltwick: Those new defeated poses appear if Luigi is riding a Yoshi and the latter spits out the enemy.

I started playing through this, and I'm curious where the new special defeated poses for Super Koopa, Urchin, Dolphin, Porcupuffer, Lakitu, Volcano Lotus, Floating Mine, Wiggler, Mega Mole, and Rex come into play. I figured maybe they were "getting hit by cape" sprites, but that doesn't seem to be it, maybe "being eaten by Yoshi" sprites?

@jimbo No, there entire REASON for the palette list at the bottom is that they don't have to include multiple of the same sprite in different palettes.

I feel like we're missing green Koopa Troopa sprites on this sheet...

why are there no ninji's in the picture?

Minor error in this sheet: Dolphins aren't enemies. If they were, you wouldn't be able to jump onto their backs and noses. True, Yoshi can eat them and spit them back out for some odd reason, but on the back of the fold-up map of Dinosaur Land that comes with SMA2, the description of the Dolphins reads:
"Need to cross some water? Catch a lift on the backs of these helpful aquatic speedsters. It's good to have friends."
"Need to cross some water? Catch a lift on the backs of these helpful aquatic speedsters. It's good to have friends."
that's because this sheet is (I assume?) an incomplete rip with missing sprites that's been on the site for years now. The reason why the enemies on the SNES version's page are all on seperate sheets is possibly due to having ALL of them on the same sheet can cause it to be too large. same can be said for the bosses.
If I have the time, I'll re-rip the enemies and bosses from this game in a similar manner to the original's rips
