Sonic got a cool attitude here, I especially like those falling sprites. It could be a two frame animation though

i love how expressive the dude is. I feel like if the demo was found itd have sprites similar to these. i especially like the swirl, i dunno why everyone is complaining about it

@Παρατηρητής I don't think you're understanding lol. I meant the dark blue that's currently ON THE SPRITE, like the dark shade, I just think it'd blend in better, it also bothers me that it's also drawn over the shine, so that'll have to be fixed as well

Yeah no. Changing one color affects a lot more than you think - if someone were to utilise these for a ROM hack, they'll have to change a litany of things to accomodate the new color - Robotnik, the Badniks, the common objects.
It looks....better, but I think the fault also lies in using just black. I suggest using a dark blue as well
The swirl looks much better now.
I do appreciate the effort in this, it's kinda okay.
