Tubular is late 1980s/early 1990s slang stereotypically of surfers/skateboarders and nearly all of the special stages are slang of that era, I'm surprised that there wasn't a Radical to go with it. Yeah and Mondo is world in Italian. Yeah, it's poorly aged even when Super Mario All-Stars came out, never mind now. |
