Once I tried making an icon for a sprite sheet with the aspect ratio that was automatically resized by 2x. I tried using that as an icon but it said it didn't fit despite basically being the same aspect ratio just at a different size. |

There’s just no good way to automate icon creation. And with almost a quarter-million submissions live on this site alone right now, it’s clear that people aren’t struggling to create icons. You should just be happy you weren’t making them back in the day when you had to actually assemble them on the frame and submit the entire thing as a single image. |
