It was made partially as a response to the Tamagotchi craze, the popularity of Pokémon at the time and a successor to the Pokémon Pikachu handheld. I've seen it, it's a really mini LCD handheld. Sadly the popularity was drifting away when it came out, half the library stayed in Japan and people these days mainly remember it from Pokémon Channel. I think the rips from tSR come from that game especially since Snorlax's Lunch Time wasn't actually released on the console. |
