@BrewzerBrody: That's exactly how they appear in the game. I don't know what happens that since the gamecube some sprites look like jpegs. And that's not just in the Mario Party franchise. When you really think about it, the 2-player zones are like alternate versions of the zones in the base game. For example, Azure Lake is Angel Island, Balloon Park is Carnival Night, Chrome Gadget is Launch Base, Desert Palace is Sandopolis, and Endless Mine is maybe Hydrocity. |

General Blue also helped introduced the concept of auras, incidentially. His is fairly weak compared to the World's Strongest since it doesn't even ignite, only used as a bluff. Master Mutaito was initiall the world's strongest of his day being able to put out the fire of Fire Mountain. |

Figured I should post this here: all of the characters Approach Shots only play if you use Approach Shot 60y. NOT the 30y for some reason. That's how those sprites were able to slip by me. I figured that out while playing Mario Golf GB for Nintendo Switch, and noticed Grace's Approach Shot looked different than usual. |

Update: Turns out I was wrong. I found out from a friend of mine, Piyochan666, that Midori and Akane appear in Alternative Game, a mini-game you unlock after beating the Caribbean Course. Your opponents are always Gene & Akane, with Midori being your partner. Since I played the original Japanese version - before the fan translation happened - I wasn't aware of that. I do vaguely recall translating the "you unlocked alternative game" screen, but I didn't know what that was. (I always called it doubles, since Advance Tour does so.) That being said, the game still crashes after you win/lose if you access it via the Debug Menu. Playing it the normal way doesn't do that. |

Only certain characters have field sprites, yeah. There were "Record Dungeons" which had Tyro & co. going through events in different games in an actual story. Thus, there are a bunch of overworld maps and field sprites for the characters that show up in those stories. |

thejohnston7 Those food items are exclusive to the Japanese release of the game (Hoshi no Kirby Super Deluxe) as well as Super Star Ultra due to cultural differences. |

Alright well I'm done with ripping this game. I'm not going to be involved with this anymore, for the foreseeable future at least. My work here is undervalued as it is, and I'm tired of people demanding I rip things that aren't even out yet. Maybe someone else will take over, or maybe in a few months I'll post the missing content here. But I really don't take kindly to how I've been treated on here lately. |
