As long as you can prove that you are indeed the developer/publisher/rights holder of the game in question, you can obviously do whatever you want with the assets. My comment was directed more towards AAA publishers who would not give us that permission (let alone submit themselves). We respect their wishes to not spoil content which is why we have a blanket policy to not accept anything before the game is out with very few exceptions (the one you mentioned being one of them). |

I really did not find anything different from this and an original sprite from All Stars SMB3 other then the eye The Power-Ups though are really well made though, and seems like if Mario Maker had cool DLC for this. The Cat Mario is my favorite. tbh i would be surprised this would get in without the powerups Short version: This would of been better off as just an edited sheet of SMB3. |

New games will need to wait until they've been released in all announced regions. If a developer really wanted to submit content themselves and they could prove they own the assets, that's different but there will never be a case where a company like Nintendo comes to us to submit sprites for their unreleased game. |

You can submit before then if you have access to the files somehow but we won't accept them until the game is out. |
