you cant, i know from experience. this uses some 3d.
his fight background isn’t there i’m trying to draw it pixel by pixel but his background fight background is like the cliffs but different
i've been trying to build it in scratch any tips?
those deep vines are scary...
I'd assume it probably has something to do with the depth texture, but I am not a coder (yet) so don't take my word as fact

I already said this in a comment on the main page but I'm genuinely curious how the, like. Fake 3D edge effect on the giant vine-pillar thing was done. Where the edges warp to match up with the vines on the sprites.
