| Feb 14, 2020 11:08 PM | striker212 | Asset: Kirby (Terminal Montage-Style) | this is beautiful. |
| Feb 14, 2020 8:25 PM | Depressed Mario | Asset: Ninten (NES-Style) | Ninten is already 8-Bit |
| Feb 14, 2020 7:34 PM | Poudink | Game: Minecraft: Bedrock Edition | java is still very much the main version. it gets all the new features first, for example. |
| Feb 14, 2020 4:32 PM | Viscera | Game: Dungeon Travelers 2 | I wished it (and it's sequel) would get a release on modern systems (preferably Switch). Seems like something I'd be interested in for more than reason. |
| Feb 14, 2020 3:19 PM | Smoke-The-Pyroling | Asset: Achievements | what does each achievement mean? hmm. |

| Feb 14, 2020 1:52 PM | SSK02 | Asset: Pac-Man | so this is basically like an SNES port of Pac-Man on the NES.. nice. i mean the maze is the same as the NES/GB/GG version, and the super pac-man sprites look the same with the mouth being wider. |
| Feb 14, 2020 10:54 AM | Smoke-The-Pyroling | Asset: Sonic the Hedgehog | I agree with SomethingStupid: Where are the blue sphere sprites for Sonic? |
| Feb 14, 2020 5:53 AM | MTgamer25 | Game: Pokémon HOME | I feel like they could've at least used cel-borders like in the main games, hell even Pokémon Masters has it, but I get that they're going for a style closer to Pokémon GO since it has a mobile version(possibly to make it easier to render to consume less power and stay consistent with the actual real time rendered models as it'd look off to use official artwork for previews and the renders look drastically different). However even on GO the shading in my opinion looked a bit better. Here in HOME it looks like it has the shading from Pokédex 3D(rock type Pokémon, for example Geodude, IMO looks too smooth and it doesn't help that its rocky texture is missing), with the exception of having higher polygons and higher quality textures. Pokémon always looked off without cel-borders, since the majority of artwork we see have black borders. I know that Grand Oak is just a bunch of sprites, but even his pre-rendered images has cel-borders. Grand Oak also has shading looking closer to Sword and Shield/non-GO games. Anyways this is just some of my criticism, other than that I'm glad we finally got a Pokémon that utilizes poses from the official Ken Sugimori. The only other games IMO to have poses that looked "stock/basic, but official" was Heart Gold and Soul Silver, e.g. Golbat's sprite. Just look at Electabuzz here, in the official artwork there's directional light from the top left which HOME seems to lack any of. Also colors in HOME overall seem to be more saturated. ![]() |
| Feb 14, 2020 5:43 AM | Void-the-Bat | Asset: Chaos Emerald | Not sure if it was only in the Genesis port or not, since that's the only version I played, but was there a green Chaos Emerald? |
| Feb 14, 2020 4:11 AM | Geoshi | Asset: Penguin Mario & Penguin Luigi (Super Mario Bros. 3 NES-Style) | I love how the Iceballs look like the cyan Fireballs when you fight the Koopalings because of palette limitations. Genius! Also, I feel like you could've made the beaks of the Penguin Suit to match Mario and Luigi's skin color since its closer to yellow. |
| Feb 14, 2020 2:59 AM | EmRuHire | Game: Abobo's Big Adventure | Hello from 2020. |
| Feb 14, 2020 2:47 AM | mjmannella | Game: Pokémon HOME | I'm in love with these renders. Simply gorgeous. |
| Feb 14, 2020 2:28 AM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Game: Pokémon HOME | @MT That's normal. It is REALLY hard to accurately make an anime-y style with all the drawing shortcuts in 3D especially for non-humanoids, and when it is done accurately it looks weird because of it. |
| Feb 14, 2020 2:14 AM | MarioLover12 | Asset: Mario | Does remaking these sprites count as stealing? I just wanted to know. |
| Feb 14, 2020 1:59 AM | Dortorpife | Asset: Troupple Acolyte | the bottom strip is of the troupple missionary, not the acolyte |

| Feb 14, 2020 12:54 AM | MTgamer25 | Asset: Grand Oak | I feel like the one where he's giving a thumbs up has some great meme potential. |
| Feb 14, 2020 12:28 AM | Dolphman | Asset: Grand Oak | @MisterMike Why did I read that in The Simpsons Bill Cosby voice? XD |
| Feb 14, 2020 12:09 AM | Nathan Silver | Asset: Sonic (v1.0 Demo Sprite Leftover) | Sonic 3 and a bit from Sonic 2 sprites. Huh, neat. |
| Feb 13, 2020 11:53 PM | MisterMike | Asset: Pokémon Previews (6th Generation) | That's weird. Even though they still have a slot for it, they seemed to have not made a render for AZ's Floette. |
| Feb 13, 2020 11:52 PM | MisterMike | Asset: Pokémon Previews (7th Generation) | So they finally gave Magearna's default form a proper shiny palette. Interesting... |

| Feb 13, 2020 10:10 PM | Garamonde | Asset: Library Stage Enemies | The dino book is technically considered part of the background, with the exception of the head and fire, but I included it because it was a hazard that can be destroyed and eliminated from the stage and I'm unsure if I will rip the level tilesets. |
