Just my opinion, but the Mario costume style is overrated
That's a WHOLE LOT of GIFs! I can't imagine how long this took
EVERYONE IS HERE!
However, they have death sounds when falling into a pit, lava or running out of time. For example, Sonic uses the game over theme from Sonic the Hedgehog 3, for the Animal Crossing characters (except K.K Slider) will use the fanfare in New Leaf when fainting from a Scorpion. Zelda uses the death sound in Link to the Past, Ganondorf uses the boss defeated sound in that same game. Pac-Man uses his signature death sound and much more that you should know (besides BABYMETAL using their actual voices).
These don't have death sprites, as they're technically powerups in SMM. When you get hit, you turn back into regular SMB1-Styled Mario.
If you want the death sprite, you'll have to edit the SMB1 death sprite with this sprite's colours.
