Somebody should update Silver Sonic's name to Robo Sonic since that is now his official name. |

I've noticed something when using a map viewer of the game. It appears the map for Lighter's House after being burnt down on fire is a different map than it being on fire. Even the outside layout is ever so slightly different! ![]() Differences: -Corner tiles are ever so slightly different -Minor differences on the trees -Map seems to more bumpy and less flat during the pre-destroyed house. As many parts become flatter. Nothing else than that. Just an interesting sight. |

Don't forget about the other assets, including those unique to the more fast food involving prototype and the more politically incorrect Japanese variant. |

Pretty good! However, I *think* you might have left out the wall hanging sprite (not fence climbing, by the way, I can see that one). Please correct me if I'm wrong. |

Is there a way to create the hero sprite using their respective sprite sheet other than cut and pasting the parts and putting them together in Photoshop? |

Look at all these enemy sprites. These are TOTALLY not from different games, right? RIGHT? |

@tonydaderp I believe the size of at least a few of the sprites is 18x33. I only measured the first frame of the idle animation, so the size may be different for each. |

@RTB: Okay, so I was about to explain something, but as I typed it, I found out about how much of an idiot I am. I DO KNOW, however, that the playable characters in NSMBW, NSMBU/NSLU, & NSMB2 (not sure about NSMB2, though. Haven't played that one in forever. But you make a valid point. There is also a way to tell that Mario in NSMBU is a pre-render. Look at the Super Mario Maker beta footage. He is clearly a sprite. They use the same sprites in Mario Maker (well, not always *cough* Mario's swimming in SMB style *cough*), however it has been confirmed that NSMBU uses pre-renders. I apologize for my retarded outburst about Mario being a non-model. Now that I think of it, he did always look more 3D-ish to me. Guess that's why. ANYWAYS. Bottom line is: I'm sorry for not using 2 seconds of commonly known research before commenting. |

@LakituBro: If that's the case then why are the sprites so pixelated? The ones that are actually pre-rendered (the Goombas and Koopa Troopas, and everything else in the specifically-separated 2D Enemies section) are smooth. Plus, you know, we have most of the models ripped. https://www.models-resource.com/ds_dsi/newsupermariobros/ Do your research before making assumptions. |

@Dolphman did rip the HPZ Badniks and shared them on DeviantArt, along with remade versions of the concept Badniks. You can see them here. |

I love how the giant coin is designed after the beta Yoshi Coin/Giant Coin from Super Mario World. EDIT: Two brick smash frames, and Mario and Luigi were unused. They probably were going to either run by as a cameo, or possibly hit one of the blocks for the player to help them out. |
Feb 16, 2017, 9:56 AM | LakituBro | Game: New Super Mario Bros. |
ATTENTION EVERYONE: Mario is actually not a model. Every NSMB game so far has used PRE-RENDERED SPRITES. The sprites look 3D, but are actually not. Everyone thinks games like this use models, but they don't. There's just a TON of sprites, and it makes it LOOK 3D, but it is really just heavy detail and some developers being awesome. |

Also, Caped Bomberman is actually being called "Baron Bombano". Most of the player sheets also miss a lot of frames (like Plunders standing on a edge and most of Pirates sprites like throwing and punching). Link for Bombanos name: http://bomberman.wikia.com/wiki/Baron_Bombano |

Are sprites of Sonic the Rabbit (Sonic prototype) allowed here? Or would that count as a fan-character? There is official artwork of the character, so it shouldn't count, but I just want to be sure. |

Am I allowed to use this to make another character in Sonic style? (Oswald the Lucky Rabbit) If I give you credit? I'm not sure if you're going to let me, or even check this, but if I can, that would be awesome! Thank you! |
