Jul 18, 2017, 7:07 PM | DigitalDiamal | Game: Bubsy 2 |
Is this a fan game of Bubsy if he had a Game Boy port? |
Jul 18, 2017, 6:38 PM | Deep Weeb | Game: Takeshi no Chosenjo / Takeshi's Challenge (JPN) |
I feel that Takeshi's Challenge would actually work very well in modern gaming as an indie game |
Jul 18, 2017, 6:33 PM | jackj106 | Sheet: Shovel Knight |
the image with the chalice looks so out of place that i thought the chalice was somthing on my screen. |
Jul 18, 2017, 6:32 PM | Deep Weeb | Game: Super Princess Peach |
If you think about it. This is a game where you're literally playing with people's emotions. That's pretty f*cked up. Also, I think that the artwork style for this game is excellent, makes you wonder why they never used it again. |
Jul 18, 2017, 6:30 PM | Deep Weeb | Sheet: Vibe Scepter |
"Somewhere, someone might possibly be using it right now... ...What? Your mom's been laughing happily a lot? Maybe... Just maybe... The Vibe Scepter is hidden away in your house somewhere..." I know that it's talking about the DS stylus and it also mentions the player's dad being mad, meaning that it's the player who has the Vibe Scepter and has the power to change people emotions, but, come on, it's a joke |
Jul 18, 2017, 1:44 PM | Snessy the Duck | Sheet: Bubsy |
I must say that the amount of animations here is pretty impressive for a Gameboy game. |
Jul 18, 2017, 1:15 PM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Sheet: Galoomba (SMB3 NES + Allstars) |
That's great! I like the style. I had wondered about trying the sidestep with them, but then I thought it would look too odd, so I didn't. I guess it works pretty well after all. |
Jul 18, 2017, 1:13 PM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Sheet: Pokey |
I just wonder why they didn't use the beta face, this one's utterly demonic and horrifying. Now the reason it's not on here is that it only existed in the prototype, which was never publicly released, and the graphics in the final were overwritten. Interesting thing though, is that in this game, you can beat them by jumping on them, while in DS, which used the floral Double Dash design, you'll get hurt if you do that. |
Jul 18, 2017, 12:59 PM | jackj106 | Game: Undertale |
i have it, just not formatted |
Jul 18, 2017, 12:02 PM | Gaia | Sheet: Bubsy |
Oh man, so much compression going on here from the console games, eugh... |
Jul 18, 2017, 11:33 AM | ittan-momen | Sheet: Blocky (Kirby Advance-Style) |
You should smooth his mouth out a little. His face is a little weird, but his body is quite good. |
Jul 18, 2017, 10:34 AM | Animacreep | Sheet: Drawing Page |
@Ashley Yeah, it looks bad. |
Jul 18, 2017, 9:53 AM | HM2000 | Game: Bubsy 2 |
This is because of the reboot, isn't it? |
Jul 18, 2017, 9:04 AM | Ayumi Shinto | Sheet: Enemies |
More like Linkaluigi |
Jul 18, 2017, 8:40 AM | Deep Weeb | Game: Bubsy 2 |
>Take a game with floaty crontrols and big open levels >Port it to the Gameboy, with a very small screen, and make all the backgrounds monochrome without any detail WHAT COULD "PAWS"-SIBLY GO WRONG?! |
Jul 18, 2017, 8:00 AM | EpicLuigi | Sheet: Intro |
@beanluv i forgot to rip the second part of the screen when toad tells mario about wario kidnapping peach |
Jul 18, 2017, 6:54 AM | smykoleg | Game: New Super Mario Bros. |
since luigi is not here, though he's a playable character, we need a game called "Luigi Is Missing!" |
Jul 18, 2017, 6:50 AM | DogeMayo | Sheet: Galoomba (SMB3 NES + Allstars) |
@Dolphman. Yeah. I made it sidestep like the original SMB3 Goomba, and tried to make it look more like the modern Galoomba (As seen in 3D World) |
Jul 18, 2017, 6:35 AM | DogeMayo | Sheet: Forest Tileset (SMB3) |
@Kewlzonic There is already a SMB3 Forest background. |
Jul 18, 2017, 5:56 AM | Kendotlibero | Game: OneShot (Steam Version) |
they're already in the queque EDIT:they got accepted |
Jul 18, 2017, 5:52 AM | IanBoy141 | Game: OneShot (Steam Version) |
Will stuff from the freeware version get added too? (If there's even any difference.) |
Jul 18, 2017, 4:21 AM | Dolphman | Sheet: Galoomba (SMB3 NES + Allstars) |
Interesting take on the Galoomba. Normally, people recolour/reshade the SMW ones. |
Jul 18, 2017, 3:28 AM | Random Talking Bush | Sheet: Carol Tea |
Added some sprites of Carol flying one of the planes (same one Torque uses). |
Jul 18, 2017, 3:14 AM | Random Talking Bush | Sheet: Milla Basset |
Fixed the duplicate "↓ + Y" command (should've been "↓ + B"). |
Jul 18, 2017, 3:00 AM | Random Talking Bush | Sheet: Commander Torque |
@GensokyoZXRedAce: Yep, that is indeed all combinations of them. Most only have one sprite apiece, which is probably why it seems like it could've been lacking. Anyway, updated his sheet with a couple of extra (unused?) cutscene sprites, and his easter-egg animation. |
Jul 18, 2017, 2:20 AM | Random Talking Bush | Sheet: Spade |
@GensokyoZXRedAce: I think they're meant for his special attacks, but I don't think they're actually used at the moment. And as for the missing sprites, since they're very incomplete (no shading, older designs, etc.), I'll be including those on a "Beta" sheet for Spade later. That being said, I've added his Character Select portraits now, so that's something at least. |
Jul 18, 2017, 2:16 AM | Random Talking Bush | Sheet: Enemies (Stage 1B: Aqua Tunnel) |
Added the revised sprites for Firefly, Slime and Chomper. |
Jul 18, 2017, 2:16 AM | Random Talking Bush | Sheet: Enemies (Stage 6A: Trap Hideout) |
Added some more Biker Ninja sprites that I'd missed earlier. |
Jul 18, 2017, 1:00 AM | kewlzonic | Sheet: Forest Tileset (SMB3) |
Also, is there a background to go with this? If not, I could probably link it together with some other 16-bit ones. |
Jul 18, 2017, 12:57 AM | smykoleg | Sheet: Pokey |
what about the beta pokey face? xD |
Jul 18, 2017, 12:28 AM | miyabi95_ | Game: Whomp 'Em / Saiyuuki World 2 |
*Saiyuki World 2. the first is very similar to kid niki but i'm unsure as to whether or not it was the localized version. the controls in the first game are super slow and stiff but the second game is pretty fun to play for a bit. far more enjoyable than Dragon Power/Dragon Ball. not to mention the sprites in both SW2 and Whomp 'Em are pretty great |
Jul 18, 2017, 12:23 AM | miyabi95_ | Sheet: Battle Mode Select Screen (Early Prototype) |
nice bonus krystal sprites |
Jul 18, 2017, 12:18 AM | miyabi95_ | Sheet: Sonic 3 HUD |
these looks great, almost as if you could use them in a rom hack! |
Jul 17, 2017, 8:15 PM | Y2K | Game: BlazBlue Centralfiction |
OskeinO Got you covered! Naoto, Nine, along with others were approved and are now available! |
Jul 17, 2017, 7:42 PM | GensokyoZXRedAce | Sheet: Spade |
And another thing I'd like to add, I think a few of his sprites are missing. Specifically his rolling and victory animations. |
Jul 17, 2017, 7:03 PM | Deathbringer | Game: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars |
Magidragon could have been a seperate enemy. |
Jul 17, 2017, 6:54 PM | Fawfulthegreat64 | Sheet: Lord Crump |
I'm wondering why the texture for his collar is smaller than the rest and resized by the game to fit. |
Jul 17, 2017, 6:22 PM | ElGordoPija | Game: Metal Slug Attack |
XD |
Jul 17, 2017, 6:17 PM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Game: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars |
@Raimbowyosh123 No one said it was. Also missing from the game is the King Bomb landing on the "BB Bombs," as the coding calls them. It also calls the Czar Dragon in the intro "Magidragon." |
Jul 17, 2017, 6:15 PM | Doc von Schmeltwick | Sheet: Air & Countdown Bubbles |
@TheGreenDev Still inappropriate. |
Jul 17, 2017, 5:26 PM | Plok | Game: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars |
The part in the intro where the Magikoopa attacks Mario, is actually not seen in game. |
Jul 17, 2017, 5:22 PM | Plok | Game: Iggy's Reckin' Balls |

Jul 17, 2017, 5:02 PM | gabrielwoj | Sheet: Guest Characters |
(This submission will soon become "Guest Characters", one single sheet instead of multiple ones), I'm just waiting my older revision to go in. |
Jul 17, 2017, 2:34 PM | mjmannella | Game: ARMS |
Shiny Quagsire said something about "sweet" and "crank" on his Twitter in relation to ARMS. Does any spritework in thegame relate to these? I can try and pull up the Tweet if need-be. |
Jul 17, 2017, 1:04 PM | TheGreenDev | Sheet: Air & Countdown Bubbles |
@Doc von Schmeltwick he was making a joke |
Jul 17, 2017, 1:03 PM | Sonicfan32 | Game: Chuck E. Cheese's Match Game |
