Because simply put, the staff who approve submissions didn't get to it yet. It depends on what game it is really, if it's an NES game from 1989 then it would take less than an hour to check to make sure everything is in order. If it's from a flash game from 2006, things may take a bit longer depending on how easy it is to find. The submission may also not be within the site's quality standards. Maybe some sprites are missing, or they may be arranged in a strange manner. The thumbnail for the game or the sheet may be questionable quality too (especially if the game has no thumbnail entirely) https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-26810.html Should read on this for more info |

I suppose. I've made "for future reference, so-and-so is not on this sheet" comments, but in most cases in which I do that I have the ability to rip them and would do so when I had time. Which makes the "future reference" comments useful for me too. But yeah, I see the large gap between those two examples. |

By posting about how you're "waiting for these", that's implying that they're expecting somebody else to come by and rip those just because they commented about it. Which in turn makes it a request. "Hey, this section's incomplete, someone should finish it up." That sorta thing. If that's not a request then I don't know what is. (EDIT: Basically what I'm saying is you gotta be careful how you word things, m'kay?) |

@Random "Ashura" is not one, but potentially up to about a dozen potential glitched variations of Sonic using palettes from Emerald Hill Zone's scenery. (Also, I find it a tad annoying-yet-amusing so many people draw him with red eyes, when in the game, the only eye colors he can have are black and blue.) So basically take the Sonic sheet, and recolor him with stuff from the EHZ sheet, and you're bound to at least get a possible version of him. |

The yellow hammer is...Interesting. We never see it after SPM, and never before. It's kinda weird that it has a entirely different look, but i'm guessing it was because SPM has a...What i can only call a Weird that still works artstlye. |

I tought this place was called the spriters resource, not the character render rseource. Anyway why are there no indivdual parts? Are the sprite sheets just not in the game? Because if so, then i take back that first line of words in this comment. |

I wonder what happened to the unused, mysterious Ladder Pixl. Can only hope to see him in Smash Ultimate as a trophy or making a cameo in a stage. Or something else that's way too ridiculous but i still hope to be true. |

There's no harm in having a few extra sprites on a sprite rip's sheet as long as they're listed as being custom (which they are here). |
