The actual title is just "Parasol Stars: the Story of Bubble Bobble III", if I remember correctly. And that's what the NES version was called. |

Fun fact: In case you didn't know, that enemy with blue spikes on them is Harry Hedgehog, who is supposed to be a mockery of SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog due to Nintendo and SEGA being rivals at the time, leading to some conflict between the two that lasted for a few years. |

@Doc Shining Force is one of my favorites, but if you ever get around to it, be warned that it's VERY dated. The story is predictable (because it helped codify many of the tropes we're used to in RPGs), and the battle mechanics are simple. If you're played any of the newer Fire Emblems, you won't be impressed. But the character designs and art are so charming that I keep going back. Also, play Chrono Trigger. It's one of the greatest games ever made. That's not hyperbole. |

@Ton Oh my God those people are adorable and I don't know why. Though the three on the right are pretty obvious, especially that one with the animalistic face. ....I need to actually play that game instead of "quick Google search" it, but I've already been roped into playing lots of other classic jRPGs I regrettably don't have enough time for, like Chrono Trigger and Live-a-Live. @Random This is a shaky in-between area released shortly after Adventure, but based mostly off the 16-bit Sonic 2. The answer to your question, therefore, is "yes." |

@Mystical Greninja Here are my guesses Emerald Box: Maybe kinda like how you'd collect emeralds in the 8-Bit version of the game where they're just hiding somewhere in the level. Spikes: Maybe these would hurt you like spikes, but the Robotnik monitor does that already, probably why they were scrapped from this game MultiShield: Probably when you hit it you'd have a chance to either get a fire, bubble, or electric shield Exclamation Point: Maybe it'd be a surprise box that could spawn anything (like if you got good luck, you'd get 100 runs, getting an extra life or getting hurt and losing rings at the same time, making you die.) |
