I'd be less concerned about it it being yaoi (which it clearly isn't, the men actually look like men) but that it's a OELVN, of which even the best are pretty subpar to Japanese equivalents.

Well, if it's rather realistic, it has a right to exist, I guess, there doesn't seem to be anything like that among Japanese MxM VNs (at least not translated). Although even then, being a Western VN, it's probably far from as good as it could be.

Not bad at all! It has waayyy more fans than you'd think, actually. I, personally, would like this game if game overs didn't reset your progress, because it is a pretty long and difficult to play game. Luckily, there's a hack that fixes that, and all other issues, basically! It's called Super Pitfall 30th Anniversary Edition, and it ruuuuless.

It appears to be a generic yaoi visual novel with a very bland art style. I remember reading somewhere that claimed gay men aren't really big fans of yaoi fiction.
(Doesn't help that many yaoi comics and manga are badly drawn as hell)
