| Jun 18, 2025 12:16 PM | Yawackhary | Asset: Title Screen | The "squashed" look was down to changing from full resolution to 256x224 (similar to SNES and often used on SNES to MD ports). Sega changed the graphics for the title screen in the final versions knowing that on 4:3 TVs this would stretch out (emulators can disable the stretching). Only reason that I can think of was down to the clouds and make it use more of the Sega/Mega CD hardware. |
