@Gaia: It depends on the video game series. For this one, you’re right. For the Mario series, there’s probably nothing there. For the Sonic series, it’s going to have all sorts of goodies inside. |

The funny thing is that Puzlow Kids is a scrapped localization name for Puyo Puyo after Sega of America determined that the series wouldn't sell, this is why we got Mean Bean Machine instead. Nintendo thought the same with both Kirby's Avalanche and Tetris Attack (Panel de Pon in this case). Compile decided to leave it in anyway rather than removing it yet it literally took years before Puyo Puyo was eventually used worldwide (the arcade version was a limited release). Even then Sega called the series PuyoPop outside of Japan until the mid 2000s. Besides the actual Japanese title screen isn't ripped, this is just the Export/Overseas setting. |

@You Gotta Be Joshing Me: It’s not canon. Sonic Mania Adventures is a continuation of Sonic Forces because in the final cutscene, Classic Sonic disappears in the same position as he reappears in Sonic Mania Adventures. So it’s not canon. |

At least it's this port. The Amiga and DOS versions were literally reskins of Fury of the Furries (A spinoff of Skweek) with nothing else but the playable character changed. (Which would've caused licensing issues with the IP holders of Skweek/Tinies) |

This game still has a lot of crossover sprites to be ripped in newer versions, including sprites of The Rising of the Shield Hero, Re:Zero, Fairy Tail and even a new Kill la Kill character that will be released tomorrow. A newer sprite extraction needs to be done. |

This Mario is kinda controversial on RomHacking.net. Some people like it, others prefer the original Mario Land sprites. |

Yeah... This is just Rock (Mega Man) wearing Little Mac's clothes. The head prob needed to be changed to be more like actual Little Mac. It's also missing the ladder climb frames of the punch. |

In case you're wondering why there's no portrait for the first driver, that's because of the actual driver Jacques Villeneuve meaning that AFAIK no F1 game could feature his name or his likeness at the time. The games usually called him either Williams, Driver Williams or Driverone Williams. Looking around just say "licensing reasons" but wouldn't be surprised if the disagreement between Williams and him as well as his behaviour at the time had something to do with it, he is extremely vocal regarding his opinions to the point where the FIA felt like getting rid of him. The later EA F1 games do have Jacques Villeneuve though when he moved to BAR (not sure about the Sony ones). |
