Watching one of them slog like a brick is painful. IMO, the game ain't great, but it's good for what it was developed for, since it was a 32x game awkwardly shunted to PS1 and not given time to be reworked after Super Mario 64 preempted it. The amount of ways history could have been different for this one game is stunning. Furbitten Planet is one of those game's I'd like to see get a "Project 06" type remake. Preferably with better controls and less soupy a draw distance. |
