Fun fact: unlike things like Piranha Plants in gameplay, there's no mask to make the Hand Trap emerge from the ground like they do. Instead, they fill the left side of the screen on the row beneath the path with a stack of blank sprites, meaning there's already too many sprites in play on that row for the hand to properly load on that specific row. Not sure what later versions do.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time

The difficulty balancing, hit detection and character movesets are immensely better in the SNES port. Obviously in an ideal world we'd have kept the graphical fidelity and 4 players of the Arcade game, but if you have to pick a version to play, this one far surpasses its Arcade counterpart. There's a reason everyone was disappointed when Re-Shelled came out and it was based on the Arcade version.
