I have my doubts whether it was commercially released as Bomber Man on the Spectrum. Unlike the later released Eric & the Floaters by Sinclair themselves, there doesn't seem to be any box art or tape picture of the game. Only a tap file exists as well...

So I do wonder whether it's a prototype, a very early release, a release candidate for Hudson to look for a publisher* or possibly even a hack that someone done to match one of the other versions. Not just this game but Cannon Ball and Itasundorious are the same with only an unknown tape rip of their version and Sinclair versions getting released (Bubble Buster, Driller Tanks) with cover arts, tape pictures and TZX files.

* - Hudson were Japanese and the Spectrum wasn't released there. We also don't know whether an unknown British coder literally ported over the MSX code or Sinclair somehow managed to contact them for some games. There doesn't seem to be any info at all. Do know Hudson was involved releasing Jet Set Willy on the MSX in Japan later on as a Bee Card and over there it is considered kusoge.
