Weirdly enough this was considered one of the better games during the Sonic knockoff era but yeah...

Actually surprised that no one complained back then about the character and its Imperial Japanese WWII connections (all it is missing is the battleship Yamato that the Japanese still love), from Americans who served in WWII and Nintendo/Sega of America themselves as I'm sure it would be against their content guidelines. The re-release does remove the flag but still.
