i'm also very curious on the what the method of ripping & importing these sprites were like back in 1996. im just imagining someone hunched over their crt tv with a copy of sonic 2/mario world slowly recreating these pixel by pixel
someone should really make a sheet based on this design

(Because in that episode of Mario's Quest, Mario gets captured by Boo and Luigi has to fight Boo in a fight similar to the King Boo fight in SM64DS)
