Hmmm let me think (Smash bros is a game for kids usually)
Why ain't PJ and nude Ness Costumes for Smash
The big dumb smile on Ness' nude prototype sprites reminds me of THIS:

What was the Flashback cutscene's original color used for? The part where ness walks to his house, turns invisible, and I see him as a baby?
Ness in the prototype: naked
Also Ness: :D
Also Ness: :D
Imagine if Paula, Jeff, and Poo had naked sprites.
(I WAS A SOCIALLY UNCONSIOUS MINOR WHEN I MADE THIS COMMENT. I SAID IT BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUNNY BECAUSE PEOPLE WERE WEIRDED OUT BY NUDE NESS WITHOUT FULLY UNDERSTANDING WHY.)

oh yeah and shoutout to the person who putted the palettes there
hehe funny naked ness
The palette of regular Ness on the night filter is missing.
@Mr. L it has added boxes and palettes
What changed?
@Depressed_mario i love how you comment this on my mom's birthday
naked ness is cursed and NSFW, go separate between not naked ness (not NSFW) and naked ness (NSFW)
@Dolphman thats a jpn magicant not jpn dream world (well magicant is like a dream world)
Naked Ness for Smash.
Why do you think it's Japanese-only?
The reason it's in the JP version at all is to complete the homage to Little Nemo: The Dream Master, which is oddly more popular in Japan than its country of origin. Kinda like the Flatwoods monster and Shaun the Sheep, though admittedly the latter is far from unpopular or obscure in its country of origin..

Okaay that was more than I needed to see
@yoboimeowth Its from the Japanese version or Mother 2. When Ness goes to Magicant
I'm sorry but, why is there a naked minor in this sprite sheet.
