Think the originality of some of the sprites are unique, especially since the original flashback color palette is the same as Gyiyg’s original overworld sprite, before the colors change alongside Porky’s battle sprite, now to gray, instead of yellow.
Why are ppl suprised, it makes sense to me that in Ness's mind he wouldnt be wearing clothes bc that isnt a part of his body, he wasnt born with clothes
Before the colors get fixed his flashback sprites make him look like he got covered in mud
everyone talks about jpn magicant ness, and no-one talks about how the walking sprites get flipped so ness' hat goes all over the place, and how he can't stand still facing up and down :(

Everyone over here is commenting on the JP and unused Ness Magicant sprites while I am just completely floored by the flashback cutscene palette, like it just looks like he got drenched in sewage.
