It's closer to the Mario Bros. animation, due to being modeled off the NES Lode Runner sprite, which is in turn modeled off the Mario sprites from Family BASIC, which Hudson worked on. |

This is one of the few NES games I can think of where the main character changes appearance depending on what's equipped (beyond a mere palette swap, anyway). This sheet includes every possible Weapon/Armor/Shield combo, along with disassembled Weapon/Shield sprites and the death animation. |

Rooster Teeth actually meddled a lot with the development, and the game turned out so bad, the creator doesn't wants to work with them anymore. He's been sharing the progress of his new game Arbiter, and you can see that he actually has the talent to make a really high quality game. |

@Random Talking Bush: I know it's impractical, it was more for the folk who are curious how it's saved raw but don't have the resources to rip it themselves. Since we're talking about missing sprites, I'll mention the few that inspired me to submit the raw dump: - Telescope from Waterfall & Editor overlays. (a few colliders are here, but far from everything). Also, I was thinking of including a dump of the pre-assembled rooms. Would this be accepted if I organized them by Used / Unused / Etc and cleaned up the editor overlays? I want to ask before putting in the time to clean and organize all 336 rooms. |

I think it would prolly be a good idea to separate the sections by game, like for example, changing the "Characters" section to "Playable Characters (SRB1)" and splitting off SRB2TGF and XMAS (possibly also the DOS ports but those could be merged into the page for the Game Factory sheets) into either their own separate sections, or a combined one for SRB2TGF and XMAS since they're basically the same game with a different coat of paint |
