@Sonictheoofhog4 You might be thinking of the SNES Sparkster game, which had a bootleg that changed Sparkster's sprites to Sonic.
I think I once saw a bootleg of this game replacing Sparkster with Sonic from Sonic 2
What's missing is Princess Sherry, Cherry, King Zebulos, some enemies and bosses.
