I was just openly curious as to why this specifically and in what way. Not insinuating they had to be Sonic-based in origin.
@Doc: Sonic fan games don't have to always use Sonic assets, you know. He never stated what he was going to use the background for in his fan game. Besides, this looks a lot like the Genocide City fan-made sprites used in Sonic 2 Long Version.

@Hex Why? Because it looks like a better version of the Chemical Plant background, that looks viable for Speed Highway and Radical Highway?
